33-Year-Old Flanders Man Faces More Than $900 In Fines After Driving With Triple Legal Alcohol

MOUNT OLIVE TWP. – On 24th of October, 33-year-old Michael R. Bowley Jr. was ordered to pay the amount of $900 in fine for driving with a BAC level triple the amount allowed for driving.

The judge ordered him to pay a $406 fine, a $250 surcharge, and $33 in court costs. He also ordered him to pay the amount of $50 to the N.J. Victims Crime Compensation Board and $75 to the N.J. Safe Neighborhoods Program.

He pleaded guilty before Judge Brian Levine for getting behind the wheel with a BAC level of 0.24 percent. Other than the fine, his driving license was suspended for 7 months.

• 32-year-old Erna St. Charles and 56-year-old Matthew Palla both pleaded guilty to a third charge of driving with a suspended license for which they were ordered to pay the amount of $1,006 in fine along with the amount of $33 in court costs. They both have to spend 10 days with the Morris County Sheriff’s Labor Assistance Program.

Erna St. Charles also pleaded guilty to obstructing the administration of law. His fine list also includes paying $100, $75 to the N.J. Safe Neighborhoods Program, and $50 to the N.J. Victims Crime Compensation Board. She was additionally fined $106 and $33 in costs as she didn’t report the accident.

• 21-year-old Fredy A. Flores punctured tires of 2 vehicles at the place where she works. She pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and the judge ordered her to pay the amount of $100 in fine. She also has to pay $250 in restitution, $75 to the N.J. Safe Neighborhoods Program, $50 to the N.J. Victims Crime Compensation Board, and $33 in court costs.
• 59-year-old Jacquelin Hyman, 23-year-old Shannon J. O’Dell, and 51-year-old Lucia H. Silverio were found guilty of choosing to consume alcohol and get behind the wheel. O’Dell drove with a BAC level of 0.15 percent and the driving licenses of all the offenders were suspended for 7 months. They have to pay the amount of $306 in fine, a $250 surcharge, $75 to the N.J. Safe Neighborhoods Program, $50 to the N.J. Victims Crime Compensation Board, and $33 in court costs.
• 18-year-old Clifford S. Robertson Jr. and 33-year-old Kristin L. Hansell accepted the crime of possession of marijuana for which they both are ordered to attend the conditional discharge program. They were each fined $833 and according to courts order, their BAC level will be tested randomly for the time period of 1 year. Their charge will be dismissed if there are no further drug arrests during the year.

Robertson was ordered to pay the amount of $106 in fine and $33 in costs for violating rules governing probationary driving. He was also fined $106 for making an illegal turn and $106 for driving with a faulty muffler.

• Tristano refused to submit to a blood alcohol test for which he got his driving license suspended for 7 months. He was fined $306, $33 in costs, and a $100 surcharge. His license was suspended for seven months.
• 21-year-old Benjamin S. Stein pleaded guilty to driving at a high rate of speed in a 65 mph zone and was fined $406 and $33 in costs.
